We bought breakfast from Bourke's Bakery at Surry Hills before setting off.
We stopped over at Wentworth Falls Lookout. Beware the google map: keying in Wentworth Falls only brought us to the Wentworth town.
We drove all the way to the Wentworth Falls Lookout and explored the surrounding other lookouts too. We even met a fellow Singaporean friend who happened to be there on holiday too!
We trekked all the way to the Wentworth Falls itself and took some close up shots with it.
We continued driving along great western highway looking for lunch at Leura. We shortlisted a few options initially: Red Door cafe, Zest or silks Brasserie. But they were all closed when we got there at about 2-3 pm. Spent too much time photo-taking at Wentworth and the Leura Cascades! Luckily, Yellow Deli was open, and we had a nice sandwich to share for both of us, knowing that asians are small eaters.
The rides at Scenic World were interesting, especially the steep scenic railway ride.
We caught glimpses of the Gordon Falls and the 3 sisters.
Next, Scenic skyway and railway!
After a tiring day of trekking, we checked in at Lurline House. The host was very friendly and informative too. They even provided the nicest breakfast I've had in NSW.
Dinner was at Pins on Lurline which was really overbooked. If our host didn't have some connections, we couldn't even get a seat. They served really good asian food. Moo was very impressed with the wasabi sushi. It had a generous serving of salmon sashimi and avocado in the centre. The sauce was yummy too!
We took some pictures with the flowers outside the restaurant under the gorgeous sunset.
Echo point was our night activity here since the locals sleep early and all shops closed at 5pm.
Moo also misguided some other tourists who were looking for the 3 sisters to follow the opposite direction. So evil.
We saw the 3 sisters, night view at the Echo point. It was really hard to get a clear photo of the 3 sisters at night despite the flood lights.
Night night!
