We top up of fuel, bought breakfast at the convenience store and some wine with plastic cups.
The wines that cost $20-30 in Singapore only cost less than AUD$10.
Of course one could go for the local pricey ones which may cost double the price in Singapore too.
All the preparation set for our trip to Otway lighthouse and 12 apostles.
We paid our entrance to the lighthouse for an adventure.
It was a beautiful view from the top.
We drove to the 12 Apostles. Just a little before reaching, there was a stopping point for the Gibson Steps. It was good to have a drive stop although there was the option of hiking from 12 Apostles to the Gibson Steps, about 2.2 km, 40-50 mins return.
The only thing great about taking the walk was to see some free-roaming sheep.
The 12 Apostles was full of tourists. We sat down at one of the empty benches to eat our sandwich lunch matched with white wine.
We took the walk from 12 Apostles to the Gibson Steps which I kinda regretted. But it's all to see some sheep along the way.
We drove to Loch Ard Gorge which I thought was much more beautiful than the 12 Apostles lookout that was heavily populated by tourists.
We continued our journey to the tower hill wildlife reserve. This is where we can find kangaroos and koalas for free.
We took the Volcanic trail for a magnificent view at the top. It was a 40-50 mins walk but we were basically rushing it because the sun was setting soon and we don't want to end up trapped in the dark.
We drove to Port Fairy for an excellent Turkish meal at Ramelle's restaurant. It was a well deserved meal after a day of hard work.
Our check-in was AirBNB Skiddaw Crescent in Warrnambool. The host was very friendly and nice, giving us a few recommendations for breakfast tomorrow.
Her bathroom was well equipped with a giant Heater/light that feels heavenly.
