Proposed breakfast at Hardware Societe.
Choice: Baked Eggs with Chorizo.
I ordered a bacon set too but it was too huge to finish. Wanted to take away but the cafe do not allow take-outs of leftovers.
We took a metro train from Flinders station to Belgrave. The train ride wasn't easy because there were so many platforms. Just when we thought that we were on the correct platform, the train conductor says that there was a switch to the next platform at the last moment. When in doubt, stay close and ask the conductor.
We were rushing to the Puffing billy which was set to leave at 11.10 am.
Gave them the 20% discount voucher hiding inside the Myki package.
There was a shorter return ride from the Creek versus the longer one which goes to Lakeside.
Although there was a nice view at the Lakeside, we also had to wait in the cold for 30 mins for the returning ride to arrive. It would have worked out if we visited the train museum during this time but it was closed for renovation!
What Luck.
This is the ride where everybody hangs their legs out to dry.
But it was a really cold freezing windy day...
We were at the Lakeside having our Cruffin and Hot Chocolate. Should have brought along a hand warmer pack.
We had to endure the cold and train ride back to the city to head to our dinner.
Rare STEAKHOUSE at little collins Road, so close to our hotel.
We reserved seatings for 6.30-7.30 pm for the special 2-course dinner at a special price.
Blood Wagyu was on zero supply here. They are still looking for their supplier but Moo is determined to return here for it.
