Australia Day 3

The drive up to Pokolbin village was long and tiring but worth it.

My smart Moo managed to get a cheap deal at the Pokolbin village accommodation for 1 night.

Off we go for wine tasting!
We thought that the vineyards are all close by but just as we stepped out of our house, we were attacked by swarms of flies. We didn't believe that Australia had that many flies until we personally experienced it. Moo was so determined to bring a fly swatter the next time we come here. "Revenge of the Cutie-Pie" as she so proudly announced.

We visited the small winemakers, brokenwood, Tempus Two and Tyrell's wine. We also stopped by the smelly cheese close to Tempus Two for cheese tasting at a small fee.
We personally liked the Small Winemakers service the best. No airs.

Tempus Two was just as good, and the guy serving us also had a good knowledge about his wines.
We ended having a few glasses at each of these places that we were almost intoxicated. At the end, we didn't do Tyrell's much justice because our tongue is just numb.
We ended up buying 1 bottle at each place.

At the end of our wine tasting campaign, we were rather knocked-out. Slept in until dinner time.

We had barramundi fish and kangaroo meat at the Cellar restaurant. It was a very cold and windy night. Dinner was acceptable but rather overpriced.
